Wow, I like this blog thing. It helps me get my thoughts together.
Recently, I have developed a hole. Not physical but.... Spiritual? Psychic? I feel disconnected.... All my friends are far away. I have never been close with my family. We are a family, but I have always felt disconnected from them. There is, to me, a level of discomfort when I am around them. I feel like I can't be myself around them. This has changed recently, but the feeling still hangs over me. Now I am planning a move. REAL FAR. When I say they are far away, I mean they are a one-hour drive away. I am going to move 8000 miles away!!! To another COUNTRY!!!! Can I handle it? I can't even get a better job than the one I have. Can I do this? There is only one way to find out. Amsterdam Calls!!!

NOAA has just issued a warning, the most powerful geomagnetic storm is hitting the earth right now, it is hitting 12 hours earlier then predicted. Space weather forecasters at a federal laboratory in Boulder said the first pulse of the highly charged particles from the massive solar activity on the sun is do to hit the earth at 1 PM PST today.
Warning this is a G5 storm, the highest rating on solar storm scale, the solar storm last week was a G3, this storm is 200 times stronger.
This storm could cause power grid problems (lost of AC power) and disrupt satellite, terrestrial communications.

An update on the Promotions Coordinator, It's lookin' like a No Go. Some Radio Career huh? I think I am Blacklisted. Sandusky is not a good place for me. I don't think I am going to get anywhere there. I am not taken very seriously. It looks like I'm outta this country. Amsterdam is a Callin'!!!!
On a brighter note, I saw Alien Tonight. It was awesome. I have seen it many times before, but on the big screen is soooo much better. WOW.

Ain't-It-Cool-News reports that casting may be going on for the Watchmen movie.
Persistent evidence indicates the WATCHMEN movie is set up now at Revolution and John Cusack is attached to play Dan/Nite-Owl.
Watchmen was set up at Universal, so we don't know.
I got this from WWW.SUPERHEROHYPE.COM This is Horrible!!!! How can you compress this masterpiece of modern Post-Human Genre fiction in to a movie? There is soooooo much subtext to this Graphic Novel that can't be captured in a movie. Granted as a comic it can be done visually, but there is so much to this story. There is the main plot, About a series of murders being investigated by a dark vigilante in a mask. Nevertheless, there are numerous sub-plots, of which I will not go in. (if you want to know Send me a message, Or better yet got to your local comic book shop) But to also compress a 12 issue run into 2 hours? It would be best to be animated, and as an original HBO or Showtime series. (One could only Dream!!!) Damn Hollywood!!!!!!
P.S. John Cusack as Dan Drieburg/Nite Owl Hmmmmmm..... Not a bad choice though.

Two days later..... I am on here again. Therapeutic. Today I applied for The Promotions Coordinator for KWJZ. This job is gonna decide my future. If I get it, I stay longer, and don't move to The Netherlands. (For a while) If I don't get..... Well I was gonna leave anyway.
On one hand if I move, my radio career is over. (Not like it really started) or at least on hold......
The other is... If I move..... I am 8000 miles away from everything I have ever known. That is a SCARY thought. My friends... My family.... My country.... (That’s last for a reason) New language, New customs, It's a big step... It will be a lot of work; it’s hard to get a work permit. Gotta find somebody to hire me. Or School. That'll be a toughie. Should I try other countries? I got a lead in Germany. Munich even. Nevertheless, is that what I want? I don't know.
Difficulties as of now.

3) Tickets, But if I leave, F- those!!!!!

I have decided to leave, I have mixed feelings about this country, The Netherlands is an ideal place, they are a tolerant people (for a given amount of tolerance) and they have a nice land. On the one hand, my family is here, and my friends are here, and it really isn't a bad place to live, but there is a definite repressive attitude running through our culture right now. I can't accept it, and I can't change it. Maybe I can try, but to what end? Any suggestions? So I'll just run from it. The EU is lookin very bright right now. Gotta learn Dutch and save up some money. School? Possibility.... Job? lookin' a litte tough to get a work permit. But God Damn it, I'm doin' it ahedy!!!!
Wow, Blogger..... I wonder how long I'll use this. How Do I feel today? Good. I came back from Europe and have internet and cable. Now I can be a Recluse.....
